I am the proud mother of two beautiful and gifted children; I have a son in law and am the grand mother of a precocious 5 year old young man who is the love and absolute joy of my life. A native of Magnolia, Arkansas, I attended Southern Arkansas University where my passion for radio was birthed, which led me to Power 92 FM in Little Rock, AR where I worked for more than 7 years. I moved to Dallas, Texas to fulfill my desire to work in a major market 7 years ago, and upon my arrival I became a member of the Potter’s House. I have enjoyed a 23 year career in radio and have studied Acting, Radio Broadcasting and Television. I am currently a Writer, Singer and Poet and while in Dallas I joined with local artist traveling the metroplex performing live shows. I have been a licensed Realtor and a former host and volunteer of the Television Department at the Potter’s House and have been a guest on the Potter’s Touch with Bishop T.D. Jakes. I’ve also been an invited speaker for God’s Leading Lady’s, the vision of First Lady Serita Jakes and WoMan to woman ministries. I am known around the country as “Stormy Taylor” or “Stormy”. I have worked for ABC’s nationally Syndicated “The Touch” Radio format and KRNB, 105 dot 7 in Dallas, Texas to name a few. And I have worked at the former Oasis Jazz Radio Station in Dallas, TX. as morning sidekick on the Jeff Elliot Morning Show. My passion is writing and recently I wrote two soon to be published books titled “The ties that bind”, a Christian fiction book and a children’s book titled “Horsy and Froggy, it’s just nice to be nice”. On V101.1 FM radio and MYV101.com I can be heard weekday mornings from 5-9am during the Tom Joyner Morning Show and 9-10am after the show and on Sunday's from 6-10am.

It’s time to bid adieu to the queen of the talk show throne. Oprah Winfrey is officially announcing today that she is ending “The Oprah Show” on September 9, 2011. It’s ov-ah!
Ms. Winfrey, 55, informed her talk show staff of her decision on Thursday afternoon. The television world had expected that she would make a decision about the fate of her program by the end of the year.
Ms. Winfrey told her staffers that she will not transfer the show to cable. She is expected to produce new programs for OWN, and may appear on some of them.
In a statement, CBS Television Distribution said, “We have the greatest respect for Oprah and wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors. We know that anything she turns her hand to will be a great success. We look forward to working with her for the next several years, and hopefully afterwards as well.”
She says she wants to focus her executive producing skills on her own OWN network and only that will be her focus. It’ been 25 years in the game for O. And now she’s over and out. Who’s going to tell me what to eat, what to watch, what to read, what to wear, how to breathe, etc? WHAT ARE WE GONNA DO WITHOUT OUR QUEEN?!?!

What is really going on??? Word around Washington is that Oprah is not welcomed to the White House. Apparently, Michelle isn’t to thrilled when her husband jumps as soon as Oprah comes a calling.
We have no idea who made Oprah an expert on government policies but apparently she felt that President Obama was going to make her an adviser. Even if he was, Michelle was not hearing any of that. Apparently this all started during the campaign and Michelle held her tongue because Oprah was supporting her husband but as soon as President Obama was elected and the campaign was over, Michelle let her feeling show face. Sources say, that during Oprah’s visit to the White House to interview the first lady, Michelle barely acknowledge Ol’ Harpo. When Oprah would ask Michelle a question, the first lady would direct all her attention to Gayle, it was like Oprah wasn’t even there. Wow… that’s cold!!!
They say Oprah had plans to redecorate the Lincoln room and also would be making frequent trips to see her friend who she campaigned for so hard. If all this is true, it’s obvious Michelle is not the one to play with. Oprah, you better sit down somewhere.
We all know when Oprah co-signs someone or something, it normally turns to gold and whenever she says jump, they normally say, “HOW HIGH???” How many of you think that it’s possible for Oprah to overstep her boundaries???

After accidentally shooting a driver at a New Jersey estate, former NJ Nets baller Jayson Williams will serve up to 3 years in prison after taking a plea deal:
The plea deal would resolve all charges in the case that dragged out for nearly eight years.
During his 2002 trial, the jury deadlocked on the reckless manslaughter count, acquitted him of aggravated manslaughter and convicted him of covering up the shooting. He was never sentenced for the cover-up counts, pending the outcome of the retrial, and has remained free on bail.
Witnesses testified that while showing off a shotgun in his bedroom, Williams snapped the weapon shut and it fired one shot that struck driver Costas Christofi in the chest, killing him.
They also testified that Williams initially placed the gun in the dead man’s hands and instructed those present in the bedroom to lie about what happened.
The defense has maintained the shooting was an accident and that Williams panicked afterward.
Jayson was also dealing with marital drama as his estranged wife claims he was threatening her life, abusing her, threatening to commit suicide and doing drugs all earlier this year. Drama.

Jennifer Hudson's New Role: She's signed on to play Nelson Mandelia's wife.
In other news, Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson has signed on to play Winnie Mandela, wife of South Africa’s first black president Nelson Mandela, in a new biopic called Winnie. Here’s the scoop:
Jennifer Hudson is set to star in “Winnie,” a drama that casts her as the former wife of South Africa’s first black president, Nelson Mandela.
Hudson will play Winnie Mandela in a film that begins production May 30 in the South African locations of Johannesburg, Capt Town, Transkei and Robben Island, where the future president spent 18 of his 27 years in prison.
“I was compelled and moved when I read the script,” Hudson said. “Winnie Mandela is a complex and extraordinary woman and I’m honored to be the actress asked to portray her. This is a powerful part of history that should be told.”

EW has learned exclusively that Darius McCrary – best known for playing Eddie Winslow on the long-running ABC sitcom Family Matters – has signed a multi-year deal to assume the role beginning Nov. 18. His debut will air on Dec. 29.
“We are thrilled to have the character of Malcolm back on Y&R,” according to a statement from Maria Bell, the drama’s co-executive producer/head writer. “Malcolm, Neil Winters’ brother, has always been a catalyst to exciting stories. He’s coming back to town to see his brother and to reunite with his biological daughter, Lily Winters, as she fights for her life. Malcolm is a photographer … someone who lives on the edge and who always pushes the envelope.”

The thing [is], if we were gay, we would tell you. We would so tell you. We wouldn’t try to keep that a secret because there’s nothing wrong with being gay. So if we were, we would tell you. The truth of the matter is we’re not. It’s hard enough for me to get a date on a Saturday night as it is.
This isn’t a rumor I’m trying to continue to explore, but no there’s nothing, there’s nothing wrong with it. I love that question. That never bothers me because it’s so silly.
So to clarify: Oprah and Gayle are female, platonic life partners who do everything together, and nothing more. Got it.
